artificial general intelligence machine learning methods data literacy analytical thinking data structuresObjective:
To enhance the AI-powered learning platform (BluMind.AI) by expanding its capabilities to better support neurodivergent students through inclusive design, thorough QA testing, and user experience (UX) improvements.
Goals:
- Integrate inclusive design principles that address the learning needs of neurodivergent users (e.g., students with ADHD, dyslexia, or autism).
- Conduct structured user testing with a neurodiverse focus group.
- Improve UX/UI based on accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and student feedback.
- Develop new platform features to support self-regulation, task segmentation, and custom learning pathways.
- Strengthen platform reliability through QA cycles (automated + manual).
- Generate user documentation and onboarding pathways that are simple, adaptive, and supportive of all learning styles.
Key Outcomes:
- Identification and resolution of UX pain points specific to neurodivergent learners.
- Improved engagement and learning outcomes for a broader spectrum of users.
- Tested and validated interface components optimized for accessibility.
- Additional feature sets aligned with inclusive education goals.
Recommended IBM SkillsBuild course:
Project Activities:
- Conduct stakeholder research, including educators and neurodivergent students.
- Design low- and high-fidelity mockups for new user flows.
- Perform UX testing sessions (live or recorded), with structured feedback collection.
- Collaborate with QA testers to build automated testing scripts and execute test cases for existing and new features.
- Develop new features such as:
- Visual timers and progress trackers
- Task breakdown and chunking tools
- Distraction-minimized interface options
- Text-to-speech and multimodal learning tools
- Improve onboarding flow with neurodivergent-friendly options (e.g., skip logic, progress customization).
- Provide weekly check-ins with platform developers and advisors.
